Surprise!

Okay, I saw Beastly! And I read the book like a month ago! Both were soooo good. So I am going to do a review on both! Two reviews, one blog. Beastly, right? hahahaha

Booook....
Uh, can you say delish?! Loved it.

Popular and (mmmm) good looking Kyle Kingsbury thinks he can get away with anything and everything because he is beautiful. And his daddy has money (that helps). But, he's also ugh (is that an adjective?). He goes too far, though, when he plays a joke on the mysterious goth girl by asking her to the school dance. When she realizes the mean joke, she casts a spell oin him. Boom. Roasted. He becomes as ugly outside as he is on the inside (which, let me tell you, is pretty dang ugly). He is a beast. Literally. She tells him that he has two years to find someone who will love him for who he really is. If he succeeds, he will be himslef again. If not, he stays like this forever.

Soo good. Read it. Love it. Posslibly kiss it (not that I did that or anything...).

Mooovieee!
Delicious.

Take everything from the top and paste it down here. Except, he is not a beast, but a jerk who looks like he has some weird skin disease. And, he only has a year. Plus, he is aged up a bit. Oh, and in the book, he changes his name to Adrian. Not so! He changes his name to Hunter in the movie (which, personally, I like better. No offense.)

Yeah. So go watch it. And don"t forget your Twizzlers like I did. Oh, and pee BEFORE the movie starts cause it's too good to leave. Yeah, so nanyway... =]

Song de Last. (Is that dorky?)

The Last Song...mmm.
Read it if you haven't. It's delightful. Like legit. A lot of people don't like the movie (mostly becaue Miley Cyrus is in it. Haters), but I do. It's cute. And sad. But, the movie left a lot of things out. So, I say read the book.

Seveteen year old Ronnie and her younger brother Jonah have to leave their home in bustling New york City to live in Quiet Town, NC with their father, Steve, for the summer. Jonah, a little daddy's boy is delighted to see his father whom he hasn't seen much since his parent's divorce. Ronnie, on the other hand, is not. She has never forgiven her father for ruining her parent's marriage.
From the moment Ronnie gets there, she is planning on how to leave. When realizing she can't, she spends as much time away from the house as she can. She takes refuge on the beach, where on day she meets Will. After he catapults into her.
It's not just a love story, I assure you. It is much more than that. It involves innocent sea turtles, Anna Karenina, mechanics, deranged stalkers, evil enemies, crime, love, hate, secrets, fires, sickness, loss, hope, and so much more.

It's an all around good book. There is some parts that drag on in Stev'es point of view, although it is much needed information. I recommend this book to everyone! Seriously. Even guys. Yeah, it's that good. So read it. And, if your not a Hater, as mentioned in it's previous context, then watch the movie. It's awesome too. =]

ps. It is the 226th birthday of John James Audubon... just so ya know.
ps. (times two or would it be pss?) COMMENT PLEASE! Don't be shy.

June Bug =] by Chris Fabry

June Bug is such a sweet novel. I've read it like six times (seriously). It's so cute, but mysterious. It's sad and refreshing. June Bug (the girl) is kind and just...oh, I don't know. but, I love her. Read it.

Nine year old June Bug has lived ont he road with her father her whole life. They travel America in a beat up old RV, her Dad keeping them alive by his meager salary as a freelance writer. The park in old parking lots and stay for a while before packing it up and leaving again. June Bug is happy to live the gypsy lifestyle. But, one day when she walks into Walmart and sees an almost exact picture of herself staring back at her from a missing child's poster hanging on the wall, her life is flipped upside down. She learns that her father keeps secrets.
The journey to find out who she really is leads her and her father back to Dogwood, West Virginia. She finds answers about her past, and her father finds what he lost a long time ago.

It's a great sad story. Omigosh, I hate it so much. And love it. It's sad. And awesome. Wonderful. Yeah, I'll leave you with wonderful 'cause it truly is. Loved it. Read it. Please do. It will make you smile.

YouSaidYouWantToLeave,WellWe'reNotGoingHome

Helloooo there :) Its Riah ! And, being the one whose music is like her heart, I felt just obliged to blog about music.

If you direct your eyes above to the title of this post, It read lyrics of a song that I cant help but just ADORE, "Lacy Let's Go" by Half Priced Hearts

look at how incredibly delicious those men are. Can you say "attractive"? I can. Anyway, I do ask that you listen to their song. Because, if you dont, I will probably cry just a little. So, lets get the views on their video to be SOOPAH (super) high and then...I'll have a surprise for you all. Let's get excited :)

WOAH. I just put a link on that :) I hope you all enjoy that song IMMENSELY :)

onto the next band.

Crash Coordinate. Oh my goodness. They followed us on twitter. Whenever a band follows us I go and research that band. understandable. I fell in absolute love with this band from the very first listen.
Crash Coordinate (look down at a picture.)

I really enjoy this band because It's a really different type of rock band. They aren't metal gross nasty...but they're just a right mix of everything. I like them.

Okay. I'm in love with this next band. Not only are they extremely deliciously good looking and wonderful, but their music is just...i dont know how to explain it. Great. Wonderful. Borderline Perfect.

yummy.

So, School Boy Humor is probably on my list of favorite bands. Which is hard to do, due to the fact that I listen to a whole bunch of music.

Oh, here is a song by them.

So, there will be more band blogs just because I cant help but blog blog blog about them. I love these bands and I really hope you listen to them!

Delayed Times Two. And Heist. =]

Okay, sorry missed my blog post last night. =( I had a FOUR HOUR LONG SOFTBALL GAME! I. do. not. exaggerate. And we didn't even finish it. Yeah. Fo shiggidy my weeble.

So, nanyway (yes, I know I spelled it worng. That is how I say anyway. Uh... just so you know, I'm really weird. If you haven't figured that out yet :). I shall now blog about...

Yummy. Okay, love this book. It makes me want to steal something. Probably not a very Christian thing to do... I will not steal. Haha. Nanyway, I love this book (did I say that already?).

All Kat Bishop ever wanted to do was escape the family business. Theft. So, she did. She stole a new life. She enrolled herself in a (totally normal) boarding school. But, she is only gone three months before her (totally delicious) friend Hale, frames her for a prank that leads to her being kicked out. But, he has a reason to his (hot) madness. Bobby Bishop, Kat's father, has been accused of stealing five painting from a very powerful (and threatening) man. Determined to prove his innocence, she plans the only thing she knows how to do. She plans to steal them back from whoever stole them. The problem is finding them. And, well...stealing them. And another issue : her team. Her team (haha!) consists of Hale (yum), Gabrielle (...), Simon (love him), Nick (ew. Don't even get me started.), and Hamish and Angus (OMG!). Seven teenager, including herself, trying to take on the biggest mission of their young lives. Can the do it? Hmm.

Twist ending. Kind of guessed, but didn't expect what Ally threw at us. Loved it (did I say that yet?). Read it. =]

-Blogga Pennywether!

"Is this the part where you tell me you secretly love me? Vampire mojo strikes again."

And Cassandra Clare Wins Again with a breath-taking novel.

Whether it's the sorrow of young (INSERT NAME HERE. BUT I CANT TELL YOU WHO.) or the secrets that Jace is keeping seeping all over the lovebirds relationship, CoFA is by far the best book of The Mortal Instruments series. Read it. But read the first ones first. because that would be beneficial.

I absolutely am in love with the secretive nature of this book. Not only are their secrets, but the secrets are laced with seductive lies and to-die-for battles. Jace's character is just dripping with delicious. The fear thats wrapped around him is a whole lot of yummy wrapped up in a bunch of desirable affections.

If i did stars, it would be, like, a 6.5 out of 5. i love this book. so much. and i beeeeg of you that you read it. pretty pretty please.

thank you Cassie, for blessing us with another one of you books. we are always appreciative <3 CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK! :)

Pennywether The Rapper?

"Once upon a time there was this chill hottie. He left Arzella Penny now that was real naughty. Now here's A/P just to tell ya more. So put down yo pencils and give A/P the flo." Remix of rap from Another Cinderella Story!

If I Spy Young, Bury Me In Satin, Lay Me Down On A Bed Of Roses...

Delicious! I save the adjective delicious for only the best things. And let me tell you, this book is delicious.

Something is wrong. Something is very wrong. Christmas break is coming to a quick end and Camiie is spending the holiday's with her best friend Bex in London. But while she's there, Zach mysteriously shows up. Then, Joe Solomon drags her out on a bridge and gives her  frantic, mad-man commands before hopping off the brodge into the ice cold abyss of water. Creepy, right? You have no idea. Someone she loves betrays her. She goes places she has never gone before. And in the end, she comes to startling (and completely infuriating) conclusion. The third book was a cliffhanger, yeah right. Nothing compared to the fourth book. But, I love it. Watch the book trailer down there! Look down. Click. Do it.

Don't Judge!

Don't Judge A Girl By Her Cover! Yum!

Summer's coming to an end and Cammie is visiting Macey in Boston where her father is accepting his presidential nomination (WOW!). While there, they are hanging around (quite litterally in one part) willy nilly when three masked hooligans attack them. They barely escape alive. Scared, but determined to find out who did this to them, they begin their junior year on a hunt.

This book is so so so good. Don't read it if you don't have the fourth book (Only The Good Spy Young) because - can you say cliffhanger? Anyway, read the book. Please. So. Good.

-Blogga Pennywether!

"I'm a man," he told her, "and men do not consume pink beverages. Get thee gone woman, and bring me something brown."

CITY OF GLASS :)
is full of class.
for those you were reading,
this book you should not pass...
UP!

Man, I'm a poet and I didnt even know it.
that's not an overused joke.

So, once again Cassandra Clare has outdone herself with another amazing book which includes possibly the love of my life, Jace.

To save her mothers life, Clary breaks laws. Yay for outlaw...ness. Okay, so anyway, she breaks into the City of Glass-the ancestral home of Shadowhunters. Through this she meets sexy and secretive Sebastian. Who, would totally be perfect if he wasn't a...nevermind. if you havent read this book im not going to spoil it for you :)

I had some seriously high expectations for CoB and was satisfied when I read it, but, as every avid reader knows, most series just get worse with each book. But, no! Cassandra's books keep getting better and freaking better! I love it!

So, I suggest you read this. More than suggest....I beg. DO SO! :)

!CONFIDENTIAL! Pennywether's Awesometastic Continuation of Reviews On Spy Books! =]

Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy! Woot Woot! Yo!

After Cammie's disastrous end with Josh, all she is trying to do is get back into the "normal" routine of her life and stay out of trouble. But, when teacher's are hiding things and all that is standidng between her finding out is a locked door, she opens it. Enter some new (very attractive) boys into the mix, and you have the trouble. Can they work together? Will everyone she thought she knew betray her?

This book is delicious! I love the new charcter and the books keeps you on your toes. Ally is a great writer and I would recommend any of her books. =]

-Blogga Pannywether!

p.s. Read I'd Tell You I love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You by Ally Carter!

"If you're texting Magnus to say 'I think u r kewl' I'm going to kill you."

Hey There.

So, I've probably been more excited about this post than any other, and that is because Cassandra Clare has written yet another breath-taking book. City Of Ashes has blown the minds of Pennywether and I  and not to mention. thousands of other teens.Through this post, we are hoping to add to the "thousands". This quick and clever book is full of adventures that leave you begging for more.

Clary is a brand new Shadowhunter, but that's all against her wishes. Her mother is finding her place in this magic-induced coma as Clary and her newfound brother, Jace, battle Valentine, the man who is a little too related to the lovebirds / siblings (that sounds bad! They fell in love before their hearts we shattered with the fact that they're related). As Jace battles with himself about being the son of such a hypocritical man, he also battles the fact that the girl he is in love with is also his sister. Poor Jace and Clary, right?! They're perfect for each other.

All in all CoA is absolutely brilliant in every way. It's fo' sho' a page turner, no doubt. And, I'm sure Pennywether would agree, you need to read this book.

Read the description and buy the book here!

CoA has made its way to the top of my "favorite books" list. Cassandra Clare has earned the right to the name "Best Teen Author EVER" in my book. Thanks for being oh so talented, Cassie!

yeah, music is a big deal.

"Those Who Danced Were Thought To Be Quite Insane By
Those Who Could Not Hear the Music."
-Angela Monet

I don't know about you, but I'm one avid listener of music. It's like my life revolves around books, music, and those convenient times where the characters in a novel are dancing to a soft lullaby. I've found myself to be the one who dances in the middle of a store. Like, today! I was trying on clothes in a changing room when "Come Down With Love" by Allstar Weekend started playing. I spent a solid minute dancing before I realized my mother was waiting for me.

It seems like these days all the music that is played on the radio is all about things that I don't want stuck in my head. "Your Love Is My Drug"...I don't do drugs. Your love is another thing I dont need to do. "I know that I'm bad, but I'm perfectly good at it!" That's not something I would be proud of? Why can't there just be simple love songs out there that just express...love?

So, I'd like to post the lyrics to my favorite love song ever.

"Some Space" by The Ready Set

I wanna wake at six AM,
I'm gonna run to the edge and back again.
See the streetlights coming down,
Set myself free from the ground.

I never bother feelin' like myself
And all sun and stylish and somethin' else.
Gotta wave bye each time I kiss you,
When I leave, I'm gonna miss you.

And not shake the sun state out,
I couldn't go right back to bed.
And I got the years planned out,
But will you come with me instead?
Oh, from Kansas to Carolina, I'm talkin' 'bout
la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-love (la-la-la-la-ooh)
lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love (ooh, wa-ooh)
I'm talkin' 'bout love, whoa.

I like your dress and the way you walk,
I like the pretty things you say;
I love to sit and listen while you talk.
If I can keep my mouth shut, I'd get my lights turned off.

Whoa-oh, when I'd be signin' off the rights to my heart,
Baby, right from the start- you made me fall right back apart, whoa.

And not shake the sun state out,
I couldn't go right back to bed.
And I got the years planned out,
But will you come with me instead?
Oh, from New York to California, I'm talkin' 'bout
la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-love (la-la-la-la-ooh, ooh-ooh)
lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-love (ooh, wa-ooh)
I'm talkin' 'bout love.

Why, won't, your world revolve around me?
Why, can't, you come and call me out, sweet?
Because I, I'll change for you.
And I, got a knack for you and the things you do.
Things you do...

Beauty is beneficial- she's a daydream.
I'm just her *act* tear me down when I'm *...*
Do you dress down to the blues, the bl-ues?
And I couldn't be happier right now.
I couldn't be happier, right now.

I checked the sunset out, I couldn't go right back to bed;
I've got the years planned out,
But will you come with me instead?
Oh, from Fort Wayne to Arizona,
I'm talkin' 'bout love.

(Why, won't, your world revolve around me?)
(Why, can't, you come and call me out, sweet?)

"Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it...
It really is worth fighting for, risking everything for. And the trouble is,
If you don't risk everything, you risk even more."

This is how we roll....

Pennywether and I's conversations....

"Madison, this is the ugliest font."
"I havent gotten there yet!"
"It's just ugly!"
"I havent gotten there yet!"
"That's just ugly!"
"You know-"
"Its UGLY!"
"Fine. Then you do it!"
"...No thanks."

What A RAVING Review!

Hello, My Loverlies :)
thats pronounced lover-lees. not lover-lies.

okay, anyway, today we are doing a review on my favorite series EVER The Mortal Instruments. Of course, I wont be reviewing all 4 books today because we want you to come back and read more, riiight?! right! so, anyway...here we go.

The book City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare is an excellent book. So excellent that Pennywether and I just had to split Jace so we each could get a little bit of him. Because, oh my gosh, he is delish. Of course, Since I read the book first, I got 2/3 and Penny was left with only 1/3. Boom. Roasted.

When fifteen-year-old Clary sets eyes on a boy she actually isn't supposed to be able to see, her whole life spins wickedly out of control. Finding her mother in a magic induced coma doesnt help this situation in the slightest. While battling demons, well at least trying to, Clary also battles the newfound feelings she has for the super sexy half-angel Jace. Is it love? WELL, I'D HOPE SO!

CoB is delicious in every way. Cassandra masters the manipulation of teen emotions in a way I've never seen. Through her writing she melts all of our feelings into clay, and molds them into exactly what she wants, whenever she wants.

Due to the fact that I have no criteria on which to base my review (as in 5 out of 5 stars and all that jazz) I will not be rating this one in such manner. But, I would like to say that you should definitely read this book! You will NOT be disappointed!

So, read it.

Please.

Okay :)

Okay, so I read some of Tegan Elliott's stories on http://www.teganelliott.com/Destination/Home.html. Wowzers! They were all really tasty! And I only got to read snidbits. If any of the books were published I would not hesitate to read them. Tegan has a lot of talent and her writing definitely left me wanting more. I hope one day I can read one of the whole stories. Check them out, love them, then beg Tegan to write more, and publish what she has already written. Great job Tegan, and theanks for letting us review your work. It was the bomb-diggity.

I'd Tell you I love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill You (oh, oh) by Ally Carter!!! =]

You know what I love in a book? Well, if you guessed monsters, chipmunks, and a farting tiger, you're wrong (and should probably see a counselor). But, if you guessed spies (yum), impossible teen romances, and comms units, you're right!

Everyone feels invisible sometimes, right? But, when you go to spy school, that's a good thing. Cammie Morgan is fifteen attends the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, at top-secret spy school in Roseville, Virginia. Wowzers! All the problems begin when her and her roomates get a new roomate, Macey McHenry. But, Macey is the least of her worries. Josh, on the other hand, is not. Josh, the local boy she accidentally meets on her first mission. She puts her spy training to the test by secretly meeting with Josh. Can she out-smart even the smartest spies, one of which is her mother, the headmistress?

Love You, Kill You is a GREAT book. I absolutely love it. I've only read it like five times. =] Three more books have followed this one and two more will follow those. These books are great, and addicting (thebest kind, right?)So, yeah I would recommend this book to everyone!

More by Cassie Clare?!

"Do you plan on writing anymore books on Shadowhunters other than TMI & ID series?" I have a plan for another Shadowhunter trilogy (contemporary, but not about the characters from TMI). Working title: The Dark Artifices. It takes place five years after the end of TMI and deals with the Shadowhunters of the Los Angeles Institute.

I have many other idea for other books that do not take place in the Shadowhunter world, including a high fantasy series and a contemporary updated Jane Austen comedy. It just is a matter of what I write first.

p.s this is what I meant by time traveling!

The Clockwork Prince teaser! Eep!

Thank you, Cassandra Clare, for this sneak peak into a book we are just DROOLING to get our hands on!

A little tidbit from the #DSBS (Dirty Sexy balcony Scene) in Clockwork Prince.

He reached up and unlocked Tessa's hands from around his neck. He drew her gloves off, and they joined her mask and the hairpins on the stone floor of the balcony. He pulled off his own mask next and cast it aside, running his hands through his sweat-dampened hair, pushing it back from his forehead. The lower edge of the mask had left marks across his high cheekbones, like light scars, but when she reached to touch them, he gently caught at her hands and pressed them down.
“No,” he said. “Let me touch you first."

delicious, right?

also LOOK AT THIS.
Its the Italian cover of The Clockwork Angel. Well, part of it anyway :p

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatirck

Okay, Pennywether here. The more beautiful of the two Blogettes. JK. Love you Arzella!

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick:
I LOVE PATCH ! Just puttin' that out there before I start.
Okay, I know what your thinking: Becca Fitzpatrick MUST be a good author because she has a Z in her last name. Well, you are right. HH is delicious (here is something you should know about me: I use adjectives that don't really fit in with the context of the sentence. Even though this book is not tasty, I know I tried, It is still delightful). The characters are fantabulous. The plot is...weird (ina good way). Which makes me like it. It is an impossible romance, another thing I am particually fond of. Becca does a great job of capturing yoour attention from the very beginning (hehe). The book is (look here -->) uber funny.

Nora Gray, a sophmore in high school, just wants to finish off the last few weeks of school when her wack job of a Health-slash-Gym teacher-coach- thing decides that everyone is going to switch lab partners for the last project of the year. Nora would rather be with anyone but, hmmmm, the person she ends up getting. Patch. Dark hair, tall, black eyes, totally gorgeous in everyway. But, bad, although Nora can't figure out why. Anyway, Patch refuses to help so she has to spend more unwanted time with him trying to get him to help. You can probably figure out what happens. You know, boy meets girl kind of thing, right? Wrong.

Hush, Hush is a delightful read! Haha. Its a really great book. Read it, fall in love with it, then read the next one and hate it (Crescendo is soooo good, I hate it. But in a good way.)

5 out of 5 for : The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins !

Oh my loverly bloggers <3

Here's one of our FIRST REVIEWS! aaaah!

AND, go figure, its on one of the most AMAAAZING series ever : The Hunger Games. By Suzanne Collins.

Oh My Goodness.

So, The Hunger Games (Hereby quotes at THG) take place after the apocalyptic events. A family of 3 lives in a small house in District 12. Katniss Everdeen, whose father was killed in a horrifying mining accident, is now the provider of the house. Her mother suffered through a painstaking depression leaving her and her younger sister, Primrose, fending for themselves.

Due to rebellion throughout the districts, a terrible tradition is now held. The Hunger Games takes place once a year, shoving 2 children from ever district into a fight to the death.

With Katniss falling hard for both Peeta and Gale, this book leaves you drooling for the next page and makes your heart stop when you finish the series. Not only is Suzanne an expert writer, but she has mastered the talent of tapping into teenage feelings and making it so boys and girls can enjoy this series.

With a love story pulsing through an action filled adventure, I give THG a 5 out of 5 stars. So, that pretty much means READ IT!

Thank you Suzanne Collins for writing one of the best books ever. We love you and your books.
