Summer Is A Bummer If You Can't Leave This Pathetic Excuse For A Town :)

MUSIC.MUSIC.MUSIC.

that's whats going down in the life of arzella:)

well, that and watching criminal minds! woohoo!

Winter calls for screamo music. Summer calls for Indie music. And I Love Summer. So, we will now be introducing some of the best summer bands around. well, if you really like them they can be year around bands too :)

Of course, 1 of the number one bands for the summer of hipsters is Nevershoutnever!

geez, christofer drew deserves more attention than he's getting !

That's my favorite song.

Also on our list of awesome summer songs would be the increasingly popular The Ready Set. Not to brag or anything, but i knew about JWitz BEFORE they overplayed LLW on the radio. Just because TRS is going mainstream doesnt mean you cant love him! because, heck, he's really cool:) so, listen to him a him a him. Okay.

Next, is Mando Diao.

So, I was watching a video on youtube and they played a song by them and i instantly fell in love. so, listen to them!

yeah. i like them.

BAND NUMBER FOUR.

The Pigeon Detectives.

Eerp A Derp. I absolutely love this band. like its an intense love. I hope you like them too :)

that's a cool song.

okay, next would be

GLASVEGAS!

cool name, right? Right! So, i really enjoy this band because theyre a little more known than some of the other stuff i've come up with. so, you will come across the person who knows who they are where as with some other bands they'll be like WHO THE FRICK IS THAT?! and then stereotype you and you may suffer a deep depression and need therapy.

nbd. therapy isnt that bad!

so how do you feel about that?

anywho, now that i've made a fool out of myself, i hope you enjoy these bands this summer. wear sunscreen so you dont burn. and dont fake bake in fear of melenoma. or however you spell it.

okayyy !:)

follow all these bands on twitter!

nevershoutnever

@christoferdrew

The Ready Set

@thereadyset

Mando Diao

@Mando_Diao

The Pigeon Detectives

@pigeonsofficial

And Glasvegas!

@glasvegasband

hope you guys have a stellar summer! watch out for more blogs!

The Agency... da da da.

This book was great! So great! It was kind of confusing in some parts (but that could be due to my pea sized brain) and I hated the ending. So much. Because...wel because...I can't tell you.

Mary The Thief was saved from the gallows when she was twelve. Then she was sent to finishing scholl. Mary The Teacher was offered a propostion when she was seventeen. She took it. She joined the Agency. The Agency was a super-secret spy organization formed by women and only employed women. Since women were considered incompetent, it was a perfect cover. Anyway, Mary was sent on a mission. A small one. She was not even an important person on he case. But beacuse of of her fierceness and pride, she managed to worm her way a lot farther into the case than she was meant to. She is hated by her "employer" - Angelica. She is flirted with by the secretaryMisheal Gray. And tormented by Mr. Gray. As she sticks her nose in others business, will she get her nose back unscathed? Is it even possible?

The book is delicious. I recommend it to EVERYONE! So, read it.

Like Clockwork...

Woot. Woot. Clockwork Prince Teaser has arrived. And I love it because I am Team Will all the way. That that you nasty Jem lovers! I love all of you.

Tessa pushed the carriage curtains aside. Outside she could see the gaslights going by in a yellow blur; two children were slumped in a doorway, leaning against each other, asleep. Temple Bar flew by overhead.

“Have you ever thought of transforming yourself into one of your parents?” Will asked. “Your mother, or father? It would give you access to their memories, wouldn’t it?”

She turned to look at him. “I have thought of it. Of course I have. But I have nothing of my father’s or mother’s. Everything that was packed in my trunks for the voyage here was discarded by the Dark Sisters.”

“What about your angel necklace?” Will asked. “Wasn’t that your mother’s?”

Tessa shook her head. “I tried. I — I could reach nothing of her in it. It has been mine so long, I think, that what made it hers has evaporated, like water.”

Will’s eyes were dark blue in the shadows. “Perhaps you are a clockwork girl. Perhaps Mortmain’s warlock father built you, and now Mortmain seeks the secret of how to create such a perfect facsimile of life when all he can build are hideous monstrosities. Perhaps all that beats beneath your chest is a heart made of metal.”

Tessa drew in a breath, feeling momentarily dizzy. His soft voice was so convincing, and yet — “No,” she said, sharply. “You forget, I remember my childhood. Mechanical creatures do not change or grow. Nor would that explain my ability.”

“I know,” said Will, with a grin that flashed white in the darkness. “I only wanted to see if I could convince *you*.”

Tessa looked at him steadily. “I am not the one of us who has no heart.”

It was too dim in the carriage for her to tell, but she sensed that he had flushed, as he did when startled or upset, across the tops of his cheekbones. To her surprise, he reached out a gloved hand for her. It just brushed the edges of her curls, the kid leather smooth against her cheek — and the carriage wheels came to a jerking halt. They had arrived.

Clockwork Prince Teasers!

Well, first here is the fake-hold-us-over-so-we-don't-die-of-anticipation cover!

And here is some delightful tesaers!

They slowed finally at the southeastern corner of the church. Watery daylight poured through the rose windows overhead.
“I know we are in a hurry to get to the Council meeting,” said Jem. “But I wanted you to see this.” He gestured around them. “Poet’s Corner.”
Tessa had read of the place, of course, where the great poets and writers of England were buried. There was the gray stone tomb of Chaucer, with its canopy, and other familiar names: Edmund Spenser, who had written The Faerie Queen, “Oh, and Milton,” she gasped, “and Coleridge, and Robert Burns, and Shakespeare —”
“He isn’t really buried here,” said Jem, quickly. “It’s just a monument.”
“Oh, I know, but —” She looked at him, and felt herself flush. “I can’t explain it. It’s like being among friends, being among these names. Silly, I know . . .”
“Not silly at all.”
She smiled at him. “How did you know just what I’d want to see?”
“How could I not?” he said. “When I think of you, and you are not there, I see you in my mind’s eye always with a book in your hand.” He looked away from her as he said it, but not before she caught the slight flush on his cheekbones. He was so pale, he could never hide even the least blush, she thought — and was surprised how affectionate the thought was.
She had become very fond of Jem over the past fortnight; Will had been studiously avoiding her, Charlotte and Henry were caught up in issues of Clave and Council and the running of the Institute —even Jessamine seemed preoccupied. But Jem was always there. He seemed to take his role as her guide to London seriously: they had been to Hyde Park and Kew Gardens, the National Gallery and the British Museum, the Tower of London and Traitor’s Gate. They gone to see the cows being milked in St James Park, the fruit and vegetable sellers in Covent Garden, had watched the boats sailing on the sun-sparked Thames from the Embankment. And as the days went on, Tessa felt herself unfolding slowly out of her quiet, huddled unhappiness over Nate and Will and the loss of her old life, like a flower climbing out of frozen ground. She had even found herself laughing. And she had Jem to thank for it.
“You are a good friend,” she exclaimed, and when, to her surprise, he said nothing to that, she said, “At least, I hope we are good friends. You do think so too, don’t you, Jem?”
He turned to look at her.
I'm starting to like Jem a litttle bit...which I don't like at all.

And, next!

“They’re not hideous,” said Tessa.
Will blinked at her. “What?”
“Gideon and Gabriel,” said Tessa. “They’re really quite good-looking, not hideous at all.”
“I spoke,” said Will, in sepulchral tones, “of the pitch-black inner depths of their souls.”
Tessa snorted. “And what color do you suppose the inner depths of your soul are, Will Herondale?”
“Mauve,” said Will.
And here is why I love Will! He is 3/4 mine and 1/4 Arzella's.

Tercero! Like legit. Here is three different teasers that she gave out all at once!

Will: “Tess,” he said, and she thought, once again, how no one but him ever called her that. “That is all I think about.”

Tessa: “Jem!” she cried again, and when he did not look up, she strode across the room, and wrenched the bow out of his hand. “Jem, stop!”

Unattributed: “I would die for you, you know that.”
And sadly that is all of my meager offerings.

I am a terrible blogger...

I have not blogged in days. I am truly sorry! But, I do mhave reasons for not blogging until this moment. Like moments ago I was outside in my pig barn scooping poop with my father (how is that for father-daughter bonding?). I do not jest. So, withouth further excuses, Dogwood by Chris Fabry:

Soooooo good. Part romance. Part mystery. Really confusing (in a good way). Shocking. Man, is it shocking.

Twelve years have passed since Will was sent to prison for unitnentional vehicular homicide against two innocent little girls. Now, he is being released. Only he is not well received by the town he left. All he wants is to see the only woman he ever loved and his family. Except, Karin (the only woman he ever loved) has moved on. gotten ,arried, had three children. No one wants him there, even his own brother thinks everyone wolud just be better off if he left.
The story follows Will as he reconnects with Karin and helps her remember the past she has forgotten. It travels with Karin as she tries to figure everything out. And lastly, it watches a boy, Danny. The boy who's two innocent sister were killed by Will. He was there that night and blames himself for his sister's deaths. He still has to receive counseling for what he fears he caused.
Nothing is ever quite as it seems in Dogwood, West Virginia.
This book is great. It has an awesome plot and is written by a truly talented writer. I would never hesitate to read anything by him. So, read it. Loved it. Maybe those emothioanl people out there will cry a bit. *clears throat* Arzella.
Okay, toodles!

Harry Potta And The Sorcera's Stone (Say this in a British accent please)

I watched the movie. In a word it was - AWESOME! I can't wait to watch the next one. I'm going to see if I can find it on Netflix! So yeah, maybe next Saturday I'll do a review on Chamber of Secrets!

Harry Potter, an orpahn since shortly after birth, has been living with his aunt, uncle, and cousin for most of his eleven years. Right before his eleveth birthday though, he begins receiving weird letters (weird because he never gets letters. And, weirder beacuse his uardians won't let him see them). It gets so starnge that the family moves to a rickety shack on a slab of an island. But, he finds them. The sender of the letters collects Harry and tells him who he really is and what the lightingn bolt scar on his forehead means. He's wisked away to a new school where he can learn how to conrol his newfound powers. There, he meets friends...and enemies. The hard part is trying to sort them out.

Okay! Well, toodles!
